Let the Earth Hold You

Walk & Talk Therapy blends movement, nature, and presence. It’s therapy outdoors — grounded in fresh air, quiet trails, and the rhythm of your steps. We walk side by side, letting the natural world gently support your healing.

What Is Walk & Talk Therapy?

Walk & Talk is a somatic, nature-based approach to therapy that invites your body into the healing process. As we walk through calming trails in the Charlotte area, we engage in the same reflective, trauma-informed work — only held by trees, birdsong, and open sky.

There’s no pressure to perform. We can walk in silence, talk freely, or pause as needed — I’ll meet you with a trauma-informed, sensory-considerate presence at your pace.

Who It’s For

This approach can be especially supportive for:

  • Those who feel restless or overstimulated in traditional office settings

  • Neurodivergent individuals who connect more easily when moving or grounded in nature

  • People processing trauma or stress and want a gentler, embodied form of connection

  • Sensitive souls who feel more like themselves under the open sky

Where We Walk

I currently offer Walk & Talk sessions in nature trails around Charlotte, NC. Locations are chosen for accessibility, privacy, and sensory-friendliness. After our consultation, we’ll decide together what feels best for your needs and comfort level.

Logistics & Accessibility

  • Sessions are scheduled up to 60 minutes. Some sessions may be slightly shorter depending on your needs.

  • We don’t have to walk the entire 60 minutes. We can walk, sit on a bench, or pause as needed — your pace is honored.

  • Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing

  • Bring water, and feel free to carry grounding items (stones, fidgets, etc.)

  • Weather cancellations or switches to virtual sessions are always an option
